DIGITAL INTERACTIVE ART GALLERIES
During my tenure as the in-house designer at Eureka! The National Children’s Museum, I was responsible for the design and project management of an expansive two-floor (360 sqm) interactive digital art gallery: this new innovative gallery was to mark the 25th anniversary of the museum. In the first 9 months of the opening of this innovative art space, the museum had already brought in a quarter of a million people through the door.
The first exhibition we hosted across these two floors was DigiPlaySpace: A Compilation of Artworks from the Toronto International Film Festival. Its huge success set the stage for many more exciting projects. I went on to design and manage five additional exhibitions, working closely with talented designers and artists from the UK, Europe, and the US. I had the privilege of collaborating with amazing groups like IOU Theatre, The Lumen Prize, and Backstage Academy, to name a few. Each of these exhibitions was a unique celebration of creativity and innovation, shining a spotlight on the incredible talent in the contemporary and digital art world.
